Where will you be working?
You’ll be working at SDLG (Shandong Lingong Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.), a major international player in the construction equipment industry. Founded in 1972, SDLG operated in partnership with Volvo since 2006, but from September 2025 onwards it is fully independent. SDLG supplies machinery such as excavators, wheel loaders, and road equipment worldwide. For the European market, you’ll be based at their warehouse in Harderwijk, the Netherlands. What will you be doing?
As a Senior Service Engineer at SDLG Europe, your focus will be on supporting and improving engine-related service and repair processes for dealers and end customers. You’ll diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, both remotely and on-site. You’ll also be involved in technical documentation, field follow-ups, and training sessions to boost dealer capabilities. Engine diagnostics, overhaul support, and the use of specialized tools will be part of your daily work. In addition, you’ll contribute to warranty handling, provide parts support, and play a key role in field-testing new products. This is a varied role with a mix of technical expertise, coordination, and hands-on troubleshooting.

What are we looking for?
You’re a technical expert who thrives in a fast-paced, practical environment. You’re someone who enjoys solving complex problems, training others, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

• At least 3 years of experience in construction, industrial or agricultural equipment industries;

• Strong engine repair and overhaul capabilities, including use of diagnostic tools;

• Able to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics;

• Familiar with excavator hydraulic and electrical systems;

• Proficient in English, particularly technical English.
